Ross County captain Jack Baldwin hails impact of interim manager Don Cowie ahead of Staggies’ trip to Aberdeen

Ross County captain Jack Baldwin says interim manager Don Cowie has been a "breath of fresh air" around the club.
The Staggies have seen an uptick in form since Cowie took charge of the side, earning eight points out of a possible 12 at home including wins over Livingston and, most recently, Hearts.
From the day he stepped into the dug out, Cowie stressed the importance of unity among the squad to help raise County out of the relegation play-off place.
That certainly seems to have come through, with players generally raving about their new gaffer.
Baldwin is no different. The 30-year-old defender is delighted to be working under the former Scotland international, and says the playing squad are determined to do all they can to get Cowie's managerial career off to the strongest possible start.
"The gaffer has been brilliant," Baldwin explained.
"He's a fantastic professional himself, working so hard on and off the training pitch with his ideas and his man-management. Everything about the gaffer is a breath of fresh air for us players.
"Fans don't necessarily see what's going on every day, but the way he works with us and the way he wants things to be done, he wants to be the best.

"He wants us to give everything we can to be better every day, and if we can all do that, then he understands and we understand that it will put the club and the team in a better position.
"His messages are simple, but at the same time demanding and respectful as well.
"He demands the best from us every day, but at the same time his character and his demeanour about the place is uplifting for everybody.
"He's fantastic to work for in my personal opinion, and hopefully we can keep producing results for him and get his managerial career off to a flyer."
