Former Rangers youth and Greenock Morton player signs for Ross County





Ross County have confirmed they have signed attacking midfielder Arron Lyall on a two-year deal following his departure from Greenock Morton.

He is Ross County's fifth signing this season.

The former Rangers youth player signed for Greenock Morton in 2024 and played 42 times last season for the Cappielow side and was named as their Young Player of the Year.

He is Ross County’s fifth signing for the campaign following the arrivals of Ben Crompton Ross Docherty Declan Gallagher and Gary Mackay-Steven.

Speaking about Lyall’s signature, manager Don Cowie commented, “Arron arrives at the club on the back of an excellent season at Greenock Morton where he was named as their Young Player of the Year. We are delighted we’ve managed to beat of a lot interest in securing the signature of Arron as we believe we have a player with fantastic potential, who possesses great technical ability from the midfield area which will excite our supporters.”
