Ross County captain Jack Baldwin has left the club, the Staggies have confirmed.
Baldwin has returned to England, signing for Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old centre back had been skipper in Dingwall since the exit of Keith Watson last summer, having first signed for the club in the summer of 2021.
He had made 102 appearances for the club, scoring five times in the process.
County say the move came about due to Baldwin’s desire to move closer to his family in England, commenting: “Jack made clear his desire to move closer to family in England, which was a big factor in this move.
“We thank Hack for his service to the club and wish him the very best of luck for the next chapter of his career.”
