The search is on for businesses making a “positive difference” in their local communities across the Highlands and Islands this year.
Nominations are now open ahead of the Prosper’s annual Highlands and Islands Business Excellence Awards, set to take place this September.
The awards, now in their 25th year, celebrate the positive impact that businesses in the region have on their communities and the wider economy.
On hand to keep everyone entertained on the night will be Stuart Mitchell, one of the UK’s top comedians, joining Prosper as host to celebrate the very best of business in the region.
The awards ceremony will take place on September 11 at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness, and will see winners crowned in seven different categories:
Bakkafrost Scotland Award for Outstanding Island Business
Benromach Award for Excellence in International Business
The Highland Council Award for Purposeful Business
The Highlands and Islands Enterprise Award for Excellence in Innovation
Loganair Award for Excellence in Customer Service, Care and Experience
The Scottish National Investment Bank Leadership Legacy Award
The SSEN Transmission Net Zero Local Champion Award
Nominations and entries for this year’s awards must be made before the 2025 deadline of Wednesday, May 21.
Grant Campbell, Prosper’s Regional Manager for the Highlands & Islands, said: “Celebrating our 25th Highlands and Islands Business Excellence Awards is a testament to how valued this event is by businesses across the region.
“The awards are designed to highlight the rich diversity of businesses in the Highlands and Islands and the vital role they play in Scotland’s economy.
