MACDONALD - (Dingwall). Peacefully, on Thursday, 2nd April, 2020, in the loving care of his family at Academy Cottage, Kenneth William MacDonald (Kenny), of 62 MacRae Crescent, Dingwall, aged 81 years. HOWDEN - (Evanton). Dorothy Howden, passed away peacefully, at Kintyre House Care Home, on Friday, 3rd April, 2020, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of the late James Howden, much loved mother, granny and great-granny. Due to recent advice to reduce social gatherings, the family will be holding a private ceremony at Inverness Crematorium, on Thursday, 9th April, 2020. OPARKA - (Maryburgh). Karl (Kazimierz), passed peacefully in the loving care of the dedicated staff in Memory Lane at Highview Nursing Home. Died Monday, 30th March, 2020, aged 94. SUTHERLAND - (Alness). We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Sutherland (Babs), at the Highland Hospice on Sunday, 29th March, 2020. Devoted and dearly loved wife of Ian, adored mum of Fiona and Brian and a wonderful loving granny to Adam and Jack. She was also a much loved mother-in-law of Steph and Emma. Family flowers only please. At this time there is to be no donation. Private funeral due to the current health advice. The family will be holding a ceremony to celebrate the life of Barbara. Unfortunately, due to the current climate, we are unable to determine when this will be. Barbara's wish was to have a collection for the Highland Hospice, and this will be open on the day of the ceremony.
