36-home Alness bid is lodged with Highland Council by Albyn Housing Association





PLANS have been lodged for another 36 homes in an Easter Ross town.

Albyn Housing Association has tabled the proposals for the work on land west of David Ross Street in Dalmore, Alness.

It’s phase 7 of a housing development that aims to deliver four bungalows, four flats and 28 villa-style homes on a 1.82 hectare site. They are described in the design statement as affordable housing.

The site is close to Alness Academy and Dalmore Distillery visitor centre.

Planning permission in principle was granted for the overall masterplan for 200 units in 2013 and since then six phases have been developed.

The plans indicate parking provision for 72 vehicles.

They are under consideration by Highland Council and further details can be viewed via the local authority’s ePlanning portal.
