A87 closed after one-vehicle crash

THE A87 is closed in both directions following a one-vehicle crash this morning (February 25).

The Wester Ross road connecting Skye to the mainland is closed in both directions, near Inverinate in Kyle, due to a one-vehicle crash at around 11.10am.

Traffic Scotland said: “The A87 is closed in both directions at Inverinate, due to a road traffic collision. Road users are advised to use an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey.”

Police Scotland said: “The A87 near Inverinate, Kyle, is currently closed in both directions following a one-vehicle crash which was reported around 11.10am on Tuesday, 25 February, 2025.

“Emergency services are in attendance and motorists are asked to avoid the area at this time.”
