A9 closed after three vehicle collision north of Tore Roundabout on Black Isle

Traffic Scotland warn that the A9 is closed in both directions north of Tore Roundabout due to a road traffic incident about 9am today. (Tue)

Police, fire and ambulance units attended the incident on the Black Isle involving three cars.

Three Inverness based fire units went to the scene plus the Inverness heavy rescue unit. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said hydraulic cutting equipment was used on two of the three cars.

The fire units left the scene about 10.30am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised to use an alternative route at this time and should allow for longer than normal journey times.”
