A9 collision between van and car near Invergordon sparks police appeal

POLICE are appealing for information following a collision between a van and a car on the A9 last Sunday (March 23).

The collision occurred near Invergordon’s Tomich Junction, just after 2pm. Police are now requesting that anyone who witnessed the event, or has dashcam footage, to get in touch.

Police Scotland Highlands and Islands said: “Police in Alness are appealing for information regarding a collision between a van and a car which occurred near to the Tomich Junction on the A9, Invergordon, just after 2pm on Sunday 23rd March 2025.

“If anyone has dashcam footage or witnessed the incident, please contact PC Fotherby on 101 quoting 1621 of 23/03/2025.”
