American-style wrestling comes to Dingwall
BIG names from the wrestling world will be battling it out in the ring in Dingwall in what promises to be an action-packed evening.
The town hall is set to host the stars of the World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) featuring wrestlers from around the world.
Headlining the event on July 3 will be a six-man tag team battle as former heavyweight champions Mike Musso and Nathan Reynolds team with Aberdeen’s Aspen Faith to battle the Contingency Plan.
The Contingency Plan have been on a controversial roll over the past year, often winning matches with "underhanded" tactics.
Many fans believe that the popular trio of Musso, Reynolds and Faith could be the team to teach them a well-deserved lesson.
Also in action will be the ladies of W3L, as former women’s champion – Ireland’s Leah Owens – takes on Dundee’s Debbie Sharpe.
Mike Musgrave, spokesman for the promotion, said: "The World Wide Wrestling League is a touring group that presents American-style wrestling events across the UK.
"American wrestling is extremely popular with families and children and hosts some of the biggest names in wrestling from the UK and abroad.
"We will be recording the matches for our weekly internet show Wrestling Showdown, which is downloaded by wrestling fans through W3LNetwork.com across the world each week.
"The event promises bodyslamming action not to be missed."
