Vehicle parking appeal to Dingwall residents ahead of road surfacing work in area of town

RESIDENTS in an area of Dingwall are being asked to help ensure road surfacing work planned by Highland Council goes smoothly.

Highland Council has told residents in the Macdonald Road/Macrae Grove/Brown Square areas of the town about plans for work due to start today (Wednesday).

A letter to residents states: "Please ensure that all vehicles are not parked on the road at this time.

"For those of you who have young children, it may be prudent to warn them of the dangers of playing near construction and plant and perhaps advise it would be best to keep away from any such activity."

The local authority thanks people for their cooperation and apologies in advance for any inconvenience.

The letter says the work is expected to continue for three days, weather-depending.
