Black Isle golden girls from Resolis win Ruralympics!

MEMBERS of a Black Isle SWI group became golden girls after heading south to compete in a quirky event.

Resolis SWI were crowned National Ruralympic champions after a fun-filled day of competition hosted by Kirriemuir in Angus.

The Resolis team - Karen Ellis, Margie Campbell, Allison Bissett and Annessa Najjar - won their local heat within Ross-shire & Sutherland Federation before heading off to take on all-comers from across the country.

Teams travelled from far and wide to compete with Resolis SWI coming out top.

SWIs (Scottish Women’s Institutes) support women to live their best lives by experiencing lifelong learning, fun and lasting friendships.
