A832 between Fortrose and Avoch closed ‘until early next week’ after landslide





UPDATE: One lane of A832 landslide-hit Fortrose-Avoch road to re-open this evening

A KEY Ross-shire road will remain closed “until early next week” following a landslide this morning.

On what has been a chaotic day on the roads and public transport networks following severe flooding, it has emerged that the A832 between Fortrose and Avoch on the Black Isle is expected to be closed until early next week.

Police Scotland received reports of a landslide at 8.30am today, affecting both sides of the road.

Police said: “Motorists should plan ahead and follow diversions.”
