Create a Gaelic TikTok and win a DJI Osmo pocket camera at this year's Royal National Mòd

The Royal National Mòd is returning this month and is now on TikTok!

The Mòd are running a new competition on TikTok to celebrate.

To enter, create a TikTok video, up to three minutes long, that promotes Gaelic or the Mòd, and win a DJI Osmo Pocket camera.

Upload your TikTok, tag @royalnationalmodand use the hashtag #modpheairt2022 and you could be in with a chance of winning.

The deadline for submission is October 14.

The Royal National Mòd is taking place in Perth, from October 14–22. The Mòd are also welcoming a new event 'Struth', which will take place on the Monday and Tuesday of the Mòd week.

‘Sruth – Buainidh Aon Fhacal Ceud’ – is a new event where well-known faces of the traditional Gaelic and music scene will be present to meet and chat with youngsters over the course of the two days.

Those featured in Sruth event are: Calum Maclean from BBC Alba documentary, Dhan Uisge. Ruairidh Graham from techno band, Niteworks, Viral TikTokker, Lauren Ferguson, and Claire Frances MacNeil from CBeebies.

Primary and Secondary pupils are being invited to pop along and meet with them and have a chat in Gaelic.
