Dingwall and Highland Aution Mart annual show and sale results
DINGWALL and Highland Marts Ltd sold 340 rams and females at its annual show and sale sponsored by Norvite and Shearwell Data today.
The judge, Mr A. Thow, Denside Farm, Auchenblae, awarded the overall show champion and winner of the Mountrich trophy to a Texel shearling from Lower Reiss Farms, Wick, which realised £750 and the reserve champion was awarded to a Suffolk shearling from Mr J. H. Fowlie, North Essie, Strichen, which realised £950.
In the Cheviot section the judge Mr G. Cormack, Wester, Dunnett awarded the N. C. Cheviot Park champion to a shearling from Ms J. MacKay, Biggins, Wick, which realised £850.

Charollais shearlings (3) sold to £600 gross from Upper Auchenlay, Dunblane.
Charollais 2 shear (one) sold to £100 gross from Achnamoine, Watten.
Beltex shearlings (24) sold to £850 gross from Torrax, Kirriemuir.
Beltex 2 shear (one) sold to £400 gross from Rumsdale, Harpsdale.
