Dingwall wilfully-caused fire sparks police appeal

A WILLFULLY-caused Dingwall fire in MacRae Crescent yesterday (March 17) has sparked a police appeal for information.

The incident, which took place at a residential property, occurred shortly before 4pm on Monday when a fire was discovered at the rear door to the property. The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and no one was injured.

Police Scotland Highland and Islands said: “We are continuing to carry out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries in the area.”
