A DINGWALL woman has been recognised for going the extra mile to make her community better.
Stalwart volunteer Lynn Jamieson has been named a recipient of a British Empire Medal in the latest King’s Birthday Honours.
The accolade is in recognition of services to the community in Dingwall, having planted the town’s flowers and tended its hanging baskets for over 40 years.
More recently she has extended her horizons beyond the High Street to many other sites, making an enormous difference to the community.
