Equipment from Mackays of Dingwall to go under the hammer next month as Vauxhall dealership prepares for flit to Highland capital
OFFICE, workshop and stores' equipment owned by a major company quitting its Dingwall premises will go up for auction next month.
As previously reported, car dealer Mackays of Dingwall is leaving its Strathpeffer Road base and consolidating at its the firm's premises in Inverness.
Staff will relocate from Dingwall to Autovision on Harbour Road in Inverness on March 28.
Dingwall and Highland Marts will host a complete dispersal sale on Saturday, April 2 at the dealership's premises at 10am.
Items up for grabs include, MOT testing equipment, two- and four-post four-ton ramps, stores racking and shelving units, steel cabinets office equipment and desks, specialist hand tools.
The mart has prepared an online catalogue and is acceping advanced bids. It says that where two2 bids of the same value are made, preference will be given to the bid received first.
Viewing of items up for auction will be between 8.30am and 4.30pm on Friday, April 1.
The sale next day will be conducted both online and with an auctioneer taking bids at the venue. All items will be sold in lot order and no offers prior to the sale will be considered.
More small lots are being added this week.
