Tain men appear in court on abduction and assault charges

Two Easter Ross men have appeared in court on charges including abduction, assault to injury and permanent disfigurement and robbery.

The Tain men appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court in connection with an alleged incident in Pitgrudy in Sutherland.

Thomas Easton (33) and Ryan Urquhart (20) made no plea to charges of abduction, assault to injury and permanent disfigurement and robbery.

Both were committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
