Police Scotland and ambulance crew at scene of accident at A9 junction near Evanton in Easter Ross





Emergency services are at the scene of an accident at a junction of the A9 just north of Evanton.

Witnesses say the incident happened near Skiach Services where the B9176 joins the main Inverness to Wick route. It is thought to have happened some time after 2pm.

AA Scotland’s traffic maps show a minor build-up of vehicles in the immediate area, but traffic is being directed by police and is still flowing.

Police and ambulance have been contacted for details.
