Covid-19 and flu vaccination clinics in Wester Ross communities of Applecross and Torridon flagged up by NHS Highland





A NUMBER of flu and Covid vaccination clinics in Wester Ross have been flagged by NHS Highland.

The clinics in Applecross and Torridon will invite everyone aged over 50 and overand those in other eligible risk groups to come forward for their Covid and flu vaccination. This also includes pre-school flu clinics.

Applecross Village Hall will host a Covid-19 and flu vaccination clinic on October 18 from 10am to 7pm.

It can be booked via the local Service Delivery Centre Helpline on 08000 320 339 or the online portal https://nhsh.scot/OnlinePortal

A spokeswoman said: "We will only be in Applecross once this winter, please come forward for your vaccination if you can."

The pre-school clinic will run on the same date from 9.30am to 10am. This will be for six months to two years (at risk) and all two to five-year-olds.

Torridon Village Hall will host a Covid-19 and flu vaccination clinic on October 17 from 10am to 7pm.

It is also open to all aged 50+ and other eligible risk groups.

The booking details are as for Applecross and NHS Highland only plans running this one clinic over winter.

The pre-school flu clinic will run from 9.30am to 10am with the same booking arrangements as for Applecross.
