A GROUP of keen gardeners will again host a garden plant sale at Foulis Castle, Evanton to raise funds for Marie Curie Highland.

The event on Saturday, May 20, from 11am to 4pm, has previously raised in excess of £9,000 for the charity.

Marie Curie community fundraiser, Vonnie Carson, said: “We are so very lucky to have individuals and groups who support us in this way.

“The ladies involved are hugely committed to making the day a success and it’s a fabulous excuse to get a few bargains for the garden at just the right time.

“Foulis Castle is a beautiful venue for us and there’ll be tea, cakes and a barbecue on the day so something for everyone.”

Marie Curie provides an at-home, hands-on nursing service helping people living with a terminal illness and their families make the most of the time they have together. Should you need a Marie Curie nurse for your loved one, please contact your district nurse or GP in the first instance.
