Franz Ferdinand are set to play in Strathpeffer as a part of their Live in Scotland Tour this September.
Glasgow-based indie rock band Franz Ferdinand, formed in 2002, is made up of Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy Nick McCarthy and Paul Thomson.
They are best known for their hits Take me Out, Do You Want to, This Fire, The Dark of the Matinee and Love Illumination.
Their 2005 album You Could Have it So Much Better topped the UK album chart and made the top ten of the Billboard 200. Fans are currently in eager anticipation of their new album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, set to be released on August 27.
The band is no stranger to a Highland gig, having played festivals Belladrum and Loopallu, as well as the Inverness Ironworks.
Their Strathpeffer gig is one of three shows the band are playing this September, which they say they are “really looking forward to”.
Franz Ferdinand will be playing the Spa Pavilion on September 26, with tickets going on general sale at 9am Friday July 19.
