Funeral held for Inverness family killed in A82 accident
More than 1000 people gathered today to pay their respects to a young Inverness family who died in a tragic car accident.
The funeral of Rhys (25) and Gemma Cousin (26) and their daughters Peyton (3) and Heidi (1) was one of the largest seen in the city in recent years.
The couple were homeward bound from Fort William on February 20 when they were involved in a crash with another car on the A82 near Torlundy.
The funeral at William T Fraser and Son funeral home in Culduthel Road was followed by burials at Kilvean Cemetery.
In a 60-minute service relatives told stories about the couple and their children.
Almost £30,000 was donated towards the costs of the funeral and surplus money and cash collected at the service will go to road safety charity Brake.
