HIGHLAND Council chief executive Donna Manson will write to Scottish ministers about Gaelic education concerns.
The local authority's Gaelic committee decided on move as a way to express the council’s concerns that it is not receiving sufficient level of probationer teacher allocations to enable it to deliver its Gaelic education ambitions.
It comes after Councillor Calum Munro (Eilean a' Cheò) was appointed chairman of the committee, with Councillor Alister Mackinnon (Dingwall and Seaforth) being vice chairman.
