RESIDENTS at a Black Isle care home are inviting the local community to a daffodil tea with a difference this weekend.

Eilean Dubh Care Home in Fortrose is inviting locals to the fundraiser in aid of Highland Hospice on Saturday (April 5).

The event runs from 10:30am to 3pm.

Guests will enjoy home baking, refreshments and a raffle, with all proceeds supporting the Hospice, a charity partner of Eilean Dubh's operator, Parklands Care Homes.

Adding a special touch, residents will take on the role of servers throughout the event.

Eilean Dubh manager, Alexis Le Neven, said: "Whether you're a regular visitor or stopping by for the first time, everyone is welcome - bring a friend or come along and make new ones.

“Every penny raised will support the amazing work of our charity partners, Highland Hospice."

The family-friendly event includes a designated play area for children, and is free to attend. Eilean Dubh care home is situated on Ness Road, Fortrose.
