INVERGORDON players of the People’s Postcode Lottery are set to win at least £100 when the £2million jackpot is shared out amongst neighbours in the IV18 O area this weekend.

The postcode lottery organisers revealed today (Tuesday) that the minimum prize to be paid out has been confirmed at £100.

It was announced last week that players in postcode sector IV18 0 have won £2million in the People’s Postcode Lottery’s September Postcode Millions draw.

Winners will gather on Saturday (September 27) from 12pm to 1.30pm at Kingcraig Castle Hotel to learn just how much of the £2million they have won.

Those living in the full winning postcode, to be revealed on the day, will walk away with the lion’s share of the prize pot.

People’s Postcode Lottery presenter Judie McCourt will be hosting the event and is thoroughly looking forward to her trip to Invergordon to meet all the lucky winners.

Judie said: "I had the pleasure of meeting some lovely players from Conon Bridge in December 2012 when the postcode IV7 8 won the Christmas Postcode Millions.

"We had a great time last time we were up north and I’m sure the players from Invergordon will have a fantastic time at their own Postcode Millions celebration. Good luck to all the players."

The winners’ celebration will see a number of supported charities in attendance including Maggie’s, Riding for the Disabled Association and the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

Glen Campbell, Reserves Project Officer at the Scottish Wildlife Trust, is heading to Kincraig Castle for his first ever Postcode Millions event.

"I am really looking forward to attending the Postcode Millions event at Kincraig Castle Hotel; I can’t wait to see the reactions of all the players when their cheques are revealed," he said.

"The Scottish Wildlife Trust has received over £3million from players of the charity lottery and this is a great opportunity for me to thank, on behalf of the Trust, all the players from Invergordon for their continual support."

Winners, who have already been notified, are invited to attend the cheque presentation from 12pm on Saturday.
