Inverness man accused of attempted murder using knife is released on bail

A 36-year-old man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of attempted murder.

Graeme Ross, from Inverness, is accused of repeatedly striking a man in a house in Balvonie Street, Inverness on the head and body with a knife, all to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.

He was represented by solicitor John MacColl and made no plea. He was committed for further examination and released on bail.
