BROADCASTER and journalist Lesley Riddoch will be talking about her new book in Strathpeffer this evening (Tuesday).

Lesley’s book "Blossom: What Scotland Needs to Flourish" explores the story of Scots who have struggled against the odds to improve their communities, often without help from government or authorities.

Weaving in comparisons with the Nordic nations, she looks for ideas on how Scotland can flourish.

The talk in Strathpeffer Community Centre starts at 7pm and signed copies of Lesley’s book will be available for sale.

There will be a BSL signer for the hard of hearing.
