Locals warn of A832 pothole that ‘could cause serious damage’
LOCALS have warned of a mega pothole on the A832 that “could cause serious damage”.
The large pothole on the A832 at Badavanich, by Loch a’ Chroisg, in Wester Ross has recently been flagged by a concerned local resident — however others claim that the road hollow has been there for weeks, or maybe months.
One local dubbed the pothole as “Loch a’ Chroisg Beag”, roughly meaning “Little Loch a’ Chroisg” in Gaelic.
Another resident stated that it “could cause serious damage.”
A Highland Council spokesperson said: “This was attended first thing this morning and temp patched. We will hot tar patch this as part of our capital programme in the coming weeks”.
