Loopallu announces headline act
THE first headline act for the Loopallu festival has been confirmed as The Feeling.
The band is set to provide one of the greatest sing-a-long sets the festival has ever seen with a back catalogue of hits to choose from including, ‘Never Be Lonely’, ‘Fill My Little World’, ‘Sewn’ and ‘Set My World On Fire’.
It is the seventh year of the two-day event which is known as the "little fest in the west"
The Feelings' third album "Together We Were Made" was released earlier this month and saw the band perform an hour long special for BBC Radio 2 at London’s Mermaid Theatre.
Continuing the sing-a-long theme, and on the back of an extremely successful Highland tour at the start of the year, Loopallu also welcomes the Fratellis frontman Jon Fratelli. As well as playing songs from his new album, expect to hear some of the classic hits that made the Fratellis one of the biggest bands in the UK. Jon’s playing with a full band, including two drummers.
Reformed Scottish band The Bluebells will also perform and The Ullapool Pipe Band will kick off proceedings.
