Invergordon volunteers pay tribute to local support for Easter Ross town's festive lights display
THE cooperation between local community stalwarts and the support of businesses helped an Easter Ross town shine bright over the festive season.
Invergordon Community Council has paid warm tribute to local firms for supporting the display which remains in place until this weekend.
The lights have been an ongoing project over the past three years.

An Invergordon Community Council spokesperson said: “Without the support of businesses and community we wouldn’t have them. We are delighted with the community response regarding how lovely they are .”
Invergordon Community Council, which also fundraised hard to support the much-appreciated festive effort, has thanked everyone for their support.
The Port of Cromarty Firth chipped in as did Roy MacGregor of the Global group and John Macgregor of Macgregor Properties.
The Co-op Invergordon also showed its support as well as the Hope charity shop and Invergordon Development Trust and Invergordon Distillery.
The group also thanked Calder Electrical for its support fitting and taking down the lights before and after the festive season.
Renantis kindly funded the cost to Highland Council for putting the lights up.
