Muir of Ord man in court after dog dispute
A MUIR of Ord man was in court today for shouting and swearing at his estranged partner in a dispute over their dog.
Inverness Sheriff Court heard that Simon Ebrihem went round to the woman’s house in Highfield Circle where they had both lived about 8.45am on the morning of June 17.
Depute fiscal Michelle Molley said the couple had been in a relationship but they had separated.
A neighbour witnessed Ebrihem entering the woman’s address and shouting and swearing at her.
Ms Molley said: "He heard him shout: ‘I’m coming for the f.... dog’."
The fiscal added there was a struggle and Ms Fraser fell to the ground.
When she told him she was calling the police he left the property.
Ebrihem (36) a mechanical engineer of Highfield Circle, Muir of Ord, admitted acting in a threatening or abusive manner, shouting and swearing and struggling with the woman, causing her to fall to the ground.
Alison Foggo, solicitor, said six weeks before the incident Ebrihem’s partner had left him.
She said: "An argument broke out about the dog. He was told he could have the dog that day but she was obstructive about that."
Sheriff Margaret Neilson deferred sentence for six months for good behaviour.
