JAMIE Lindsay insists Ross County’s determination to lift the Irn-Bru Cup is in no way weakened by Championship aspirations.

With the Dingwall squad and management driven to regain Premiership status at the first time of asking, it would be easy for all concerned to view Scotland’s third cup competition as a trivial sideshow.

But midfielder Lindsay, fresh from last Saturday’s costly home defeat to Dundee United, made it clear there was a craving for silverware success on every front within the Staggies’ camp.
