STUART Kettlewell insists Ross County’s only thought tomorrow will be keeping Championship leaders Ayr United firmly within sight.

A ninth home victory from 10 this season for the Staggies would deal promotion rivals Dundee United a savage blow early in Robbie Neilson’s promising managerial reign.

But Kettlewell, with two wins over the Tannadice men already this season, claims the focus is very much on ensuring Ian McCall’s team cannot stretch their three-point advantage in the title race.

United have picked up form under former Hearts and MK Dons manager Neilson, with three wins and a draw from his opening four matches.

Kettlewell, though, is only looking upwards in the table.
