Mckay is a new man at Ross County

BILLY Mckay admits Ross County will have to raise performance levels all over again to triumph over a resurgent Dundee United in Dingwall tomorrow .

The new Ladbrokes Championship player of the month for October took positives from a dramatic and highly entertaining derby draw with Caley Thistle in Inverness last weekend.

But with the Tannadice team cresting a wave of good form since the appointment of Robbie Neilson in early October, Mckay is on high alert. United, who Mckay played for on loan in season 2015/16, have won three and drawn one of their four games under former Hearts defender Neilson.

For Mckay, who has hit eight goals from nine league starts – and 11 in all – the latest test cannot come quickly enough.
