ICT expecting royal battle with Queens

John Roberston expects Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s trip to Queen of the South tomorrow to follow in the footsteps of their previous games as a close affair.

The sides have met each other five times in the Championship since the start of last season, with three of those matches ending in 0-0 stalemates.

Caley Thistle came out victorious on the other two occasions, and Robertson has pointed to the early goals his side scored in each of those matches as the difference makers.

“We’ve always had really good games against Queens, they’re always tight,” he explained.
