Firefighters extinguish warehouse blaze

The blaze occurred in Musselburgh (Iona/PA)

Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a storage warehouse.

At the height of the incident, around 45 firefighters were at the scene in Eskmills Road in Musselburgh, East Lothian.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said nine fire appliances attended when the alarm was raised at 12.25am on Tuesday.

Four fire engines and a height appliance were still there at 6.30am and the last appliance left the scene just after 11.30am.

There were no reports of any casualties.

Police advised local residents and businesses to keep windows and doors shut and a number of roads were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
