Dozens of firefighters are tackling a “well-developed” blaze at a paper mill in Fife.

Emergency services were called to the site in Glenwood Road in Leslie at about 5.14am on Tuesday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said 12 fire appliances and specialist resources have been sent to the scene.

An SFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters are working to extinguish a well-developed fire within a large industrial building.

“There are no reported casualties.”

About 48 firefighters were at the scene dealing with the incident on Tuesday morning.

The fire service asked people to avoid the area where possible and advised those living nearby to keep windows and doors closed.
