Stars converged on Newcastle for the Mobo Awards, which celebrate black music and culture across the UK and further afield.

The night included performances from rock duo Nova Twins, British hip hop duo Krept And Konan, and Odeal, Darkoo and Bashy.

The PA news agency was on the red carpet and in Newcastle’s Utilita Arena for the ceremony. These are some of the best pictures from the night.
