A WOMAN had her purse stolen while out walking on Inglis Street, Inverness.

The incident happened at around 3.20pm on Friday.

The suspect is described as male, while, 5ft 9in, of medium build, short hair and was wearing a blueT-shirt and jeans at the time.

The purse contained a three figure sum stolen.

Anyone in the area who recognises the description or was in the area at the relevant time is urged to contact police on 0845 6005703 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
