FREEMASONS in Caithness have been busy fundraising for two good causes.

An inter-lodge competition raised £300 for the Wilma Rosie Memorial Fund which is operated by the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Group in Thurso.

Local masons also helped sponsor Inverness colleague John Baillie on a charity hike along the West Highland Way.

Mr Baillie, a native of Durness, made a total of £3447 which has gone to the Inverness base of the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland’s care-at-home team.

The master of the lodge at Drumossie recently came north to show his appreciation for the support he received.
