Elgin face stiff test at Formartine
ELGIN City face a real test of character tonight in the Ramsdens Cup.
City face Highland League side Formartine Utd in the second round of the Ramsdens Cup at North Lodge Park.
Formartine, managed by former Elgin City player-boss Steve Paterson, are flying high with a 100% record this season.
However, City go into the game on the back of three successive defeats, the latest a 3-0 League Two loss at East Stirling last Saturday.
Manager Ross Jack kept his players in the dressing room for 45 minutes after the game.
He will be hoping for a reaction at Pitmedden from his players, with many making Formartine favourites to spring another cup shock after beating East Stirling 2-0 in the first round.
Elgin should welcome back defender Sean Crighton from suspension.
There is set to be a cracking atmosphere at the game with Paterson admitting this was his "dream draw".
Reporter Craig Christie will be at the game and follow his updates on Twitter @Nscot.
