Delays after Aviemore crash
TRAFFIC was disrupted on the busy A95 whisky road on Friday morning after a three-vehicle accident.
Emergency services were called out at about 11.40am when reports came in from just north of Aviemore.
A car and two vans were involved in the crash on the Aviemore four miles north of the village.
It took around an hour to remove two of the vehicles from the scene while one of the vans was loaded onto a pick-up truck as northbound and southbound traffic edged its way around the accident scene.
Normal traffic flow was resumed shortly afterwards at about 1.30pm.
A spokesperson at Police Scotland confirmed that no serious injuries had been reported in the incident.
* Kingussie Fire Service were called out on Sunday evening after an alarm was raised within mere yards of its King Street base.
The fire service confirmed there had been no cause for concern after they had thoroughly checked the area which in April had seen a catastrophic internal blaze at a sports shop nearby which remains vacant.
