NC500 hotspot Ullapool sees caravans pitch up at playpark

The NC500 hotspot village of Ullapool has seen multiple caravans pitch up at a local children’s playpark, causing outrage among locals.

The caravans are said to have been staying in the village for a few days. Locals have also said they experienced “abusive and threatening behaviour” from the visitors.

Local MSP and Ullapool resident, Maree Todd, responded to one concerned Wester Ross resident on X (Twitter).

She said: “My team are working on this issue,” and went on to say she will keep those who have reported the issue, updated on the situation.

Police have been contacted for comment.
