It was the second lifeboat callout in a matter of days to the same location.
The Shannon Class lifeboat Agnes AP Barr and her volunteer crew of six launched minutes after the pagers were sounded by the UK Coastguard along with RNLI Kessock Lifeboat and began making best speed in ideal conditions up the Cromarty Firth towards Rosemarkie. It was at this time confirmation was received that all people concerned were safely back ashore.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to the berth at Invergordon's West Harbour, washed, refuelled and made ready for service by 1:20pm.
The Kessock crew had been called out on Sunday to assist a paddleboarder at the same location.
She was being blown offshore by a south-westerly breeze described as being Force 3-4.
The crew assembled and made contact with the casualty, bringing her and her equipment onto the lifeboat.
With good weather expected to continue, the Invergordon crew has today shared an article with safety tips for paddleboarders.
