Pictures from Peffery Way new year walk between Strathpeffer and Dingwall
A WALK along a trailblazing off-road route linking two Ross-shire communities was a great start to the year for many in crisp conditions at the weekend.
The Peffery Way links Strathpeffer and Dingwall and has been well-used by walkers and cyclists since being established after a long, determined effort by enthusiasts and volunteers.

It’s looked after by trustees of the Peffery Way Association who rely on fundraising and donations to help with regular maintenance sessions.
The new year walk - which took place on Saturday - started at the Strathpeffer Station platform, one end of the route.
The temperature certainly dipped but it remained dry for walkers and cyclists taking to the path.
