A BLACK Isle community got stuck into the Easter fun over the weekend in support of a Strictly Inverness charity dancer, raising £600.
Kirsty Littlejohn hosted an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday to help fundraise for the charity dance competition, which she will compete in next month.
More than 70 kids took to Culbokie Woods to hunt for eggs and each child received a goodie bag and got to keep the eggs they found.
Mascots Bobby the Bee, from the Highland Hospice and an Easter bunny were on hand to help kids out.
There was also a best decorated egg competition.
Miss Littlejohn said she had a great day and was happy to support the community.
“It went much better than anticipated! There was at least 70 kids that turned up! It was great to see so many happy excited little faces,” she said.
She will compete in the competition on Thursday, May 19 with partner Bradley Duke, where they are hoping to advance to the final on Saturday May 21.
“The competition has come round so fast I think it’s safe to say myself and my partner are feeling the pressure!”
