PICTURES: Easter Ross church provides focus for art lovers
A special exhibition and sale attracted visitors from across the county and beyond.
The event at Easter Logie Church was run by its new owner, Hilary Andexer and ran from October 10-16.
The landmark building was purchased from the Church of Scotland by Mrs Andexer who said: “It is and always has been an important building for the community and I felt it should be kept as a building for the community into the future.
“The aim is to keep the church vibrant and very much alive by holding four fairs a year.”
It will also be available for weddings and funerals.
The first art fair aimed to help provide a buffer against rising energy costs and building repairs.
Mrs Andexer, who also looks after a number of rescued animals, said many people who attended the event had seen coverage in this paper and that it had also succeeded in bringing people together.
It also gave artists a showcase for their work and the opportunity to meet art lovers and potential buyers face to face.
She said that a Christmas fair is planned for Saturday, November 5 from10am-4pm at the same venue.
