PICTURES: Fire-ravaged Boleskine House 'collapsing'
FIRE-struck Boleskine House is showing "multiple signs of collapse", according to the fire service.
Appliances from Foyers, Inverness and Beauly are still fighting the blaze which broke out around 1.40pm this afternoon.
Crews in breathing apparatus have been using four main jets to tackle the fire at the historic property on Loch Ness-side.
A large part of the 18th century house has already been destroyed by the fire and crews continue to quell the blaze.
In the latest update, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "The building is showing multiple signs of collapse."
The category B-listed building was formerly owned by the author and occultist Aleister Crowley who is said to have conducted rituals at the house.
From 1970 to 1992, it was owned by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page who bought it as a base from which to write songs, although he never lived there for any length of time.
